DK Engineering specialises in the restoration, sale, storage and race preparation of Ferrari road and racing cars. It works for collectors around the world, including Ralph Lauren and Eric Clapton. Trading in cars that can cost upwards of £1m, such as the McLaren P1 it sold this year, helped international sales reach £21.6m in 2014. The Hertfordshire firm was founded in 1977 by David and Kate Cottingham, 72 and 70 respectively, and is run by their sons, James, 31, Jeremy, 40, and Justin, 42.
