Neil Miller was working for the publisher Haymarket, and Chris Perry was working for the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather when they spotted an opportunity for a digital communications agency that combined marketing, design and technology. Since founding DNA in 1995, the pair have developed websites and interactive TV services for MFI, the Design Council, Shell and Royal & Sun Alliance, driving up sales 96% a year from an annualised £594,000 in 1999 to £2.3m, also annualised, in 2001.
