This group dates back to 1947 when brothers Peter and James Donnelly set up a vehicle-repair centre and taxi service on the border between Co Tyrone and Co Armagh. Today it trades from 10 sites selling 13 marques, including Land Rover, VW and Citroën. Managing director and controlling shareholder Terence Donnelly saw operating profit in 2009 rise to £2.7m despite sales falling to £172.2m.
