Tony Deep Wouhra, 76, and his four brothers opened an Indian food store in Wolverhampton in the 1970s, and their business has grown to be one of the largest importers and processors of ethnic foods in Britain. East End supplies supermarkets, restaurants and Asian stores with produce such as rice and spices, and also operates several cash-and-carry outlets. The largest is based on the site of the former HP Sauce factory in Aston, Birmingham, contributing about £70m to turnover, up to £185.5m in 2017.
