Easynet built the network behind BSkyB’s broadband services in Britain, and provides managed hosting and networks for data, voice and video to corporate customers such as Bridgestone, Michelin, News Corp, Dior and Ford. The London-based company was founded in 1994 by chief executive David Rowe, who sold the company to BSkyB in 2006. Four years later, he bought it back in a £100m deal funded by LDC, part pf the Lloyds Banking Group. The business supports its international customer base in more than 50 countries with offices in Europe, Asia and America. Easynet generated sales of £220m in 2010.
