Exporters use Ebury’s online platform to arrange currency hedging, payments and loans. Started in 2009 by joint chief executives Juan Lobato, 43, and Salvador Garcia, 39, it has clients, ranging from online retailers to charities, in more than 20 countries and in 2015 processed £2.7bn of trades. Last year it opened a Warsaw office and raised more than £70m from a consortium led by private equity house Vitruvian Partners. Sales grew to £22.4m in 2016.
