A family-owned logistics broker, it is led by Philip Edge, 37, the son of founder and chairman Alan Edge, 71. In recent years it has focused on the retail, e-commerce and food and drink sectors, with customers including Iceland, THG and The Entertainer. It has a sister company in Thailand, with which it launched a joint venture in Vietnam in 2018. Profits last year hit £4.2 million.
