Top Track 100

This Glasgow company, founded in 1861, says its flagship whisky, the Macallan, is the world’s most valuable single malt. It is spending £500m developing the brand over five years, which includes the launch of its £140m Speyside distillery last year. The distiller owns other whiskies such as Highland Park, The Famous Grouse and Glenrothes, and it also makes Brugal rum and Snow Leopard vodka. In April, Scott McCroskie, 51, took over as chief executive.
