Multinational brands such as Lego increasingly need to manage their activity on social media, a service Emoderation specialises in. Founded in 2002 by chief executive Tamara Littleton, 45, its partner company Polpeo allows a business to simulate and prepare for online criticism from the public, celebrities and journalists. The company, which made sales of £8.9m in 2014, offers a range of services from “social listening” to community management and moderation of online channels such as messageboards. It employs 360 staff around the world.
