Sharan Pasricha, 36, founded Ennismore in 2012 when he bought The Hoxton hotel in Shoreditch, east London. The group – which develops, operates and designs its establishments – now runs two further Hoxton-branded hotels, in Holborn, central London, and Amsterdam, and all offer monthly programmes of events for guests and locals. With the help of its sister company Norlake, Ennismore is spending £500m on international expansion: six Hoxtons will open over the next three years in London, Paris and America. It is also refurbishing the five-star Gleneagles hotel, bought in 2015, and developing an independent restaurant division and a budget hotel brand. Sales reached £10.5m in 2015.
