EnvoPAP makes packaging and paper from agricultural waste, blending sugarcane, wheat straw and wild grass fibres to create office paper and packaging materials. It claims its paper reduces carbon footprint by 38% compare to conventional paper. Customers include L’Oréal and the German sugar producer Südzucker, and it is forecasting sales of £11.3m by 2023. Chief executive Kaushal Shah, 28, who has a family background in paper and packaging, founded the company in 2015 while he was a student at the University of Southampton.
