Tech Track 100

When a struggling shop in the Channel 4 series Mary Portas: Secret Shopper required a more modern way of monitoring stock and sales, Epos Now provided the solution. The Norwich firm’s cloud-based point-of-sale systems are used by businesses ranging from shops to restaurants. Former bar owner Jacyn Heavens, 33, started the company in 2011 after becoming frustrated with existing alternatives. Boosted by the opening of an office in the US and the launch of an app store, sales hit £9.2m in 2016.
