He cashed in his life savings to found Fairbridge Communications, an IT systems integrator. The Harrogate company, which built the internet registration for the hit television show Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? has boosted its sales 65% a year from £582,000 in 1998 to £1.6m in 2000.
