Aaron Chatterley and Richard Schiessl started this Jersey firm in 2005 because they believed the online market for health-and-beauty products was under-served. The website’s range includes brands such as Clarins, Elizabeth Arden, Benefit and GHD. A recent TV advertising campaign and the acquisition of two spas and two salons has driven sales growth of 106% a year, from £1.9m in 2008 to £16.1m in 2011. The investment arm of the hotel and spa chain Huggler Group holds a 50% stake in the company, having first invested in 2006.
