London-based Flair Leisure Products sells and markets the toys of yesteryear, such as Play-Doh, Sticklebricks and Sylvanian Families. The toys are made in China, Ireland and Spain and sold in stores such as Toys R Us, Argos and Woolworths. Two of Flair Leisure’s four co-founders are toy industry veterans. Peter Brown was the man behind Tomy UK, while Richard Beecham is a former chairman of Dunby Combex Marx. Sales have grown more than 91% a year from an annualised £1.7m in 1999 to £11.6m in 2002.
