Flubit’s software saves online shoppers an average of 12% by analysing Amazon’s prices, and then sourcing the same product for less using its platform of more than 1,500 retailers. Gross sales more than doubled last year to £15m, helped by a deal with Barclays, whose 5m Barclaycard customers use Flubit’s technology when they compare deals on its special offers website. Bertie Stephens, 29, co-founded the London firm in 2010, and it has raised more than £9m from angel investors. Flubit’s sister company, which rebranded last week to SKU Cloud, helps retailers sell products on their website or app and is currently closing a new funding round.
