Co-founded by Ralph Gilbert, Chris Goodman and Paul Tolhurst, Focus 4U sells through a network of 40 partners, including Gamma Telecom and BT. Building its brand through sponsorship deals with Brighton Racecourse and Sussex Cricket Club has helped to boost sales 53% a year from £1.6m in 2006 to £5.9m in 2009.
