But Forensic Alliance has been helping to solve crimes using DNA profiling, drugs testing, body- fluid examination and soil analysis since 1997 when it was launched by Angela Gallop. It says it has worked with 35 police forces in Britain and now manages 20,000 cases a year. Sales have grown 49% a year from £6.4m in 2002 to £14.1m in 2004.
