It also runs a special-services division for those with learning disabilities, brain injuries and special needs. Under chairman Robbie Barr, 59, the Cheshire-based company has implemented a turnaround plan to reduce its debts of more than £500m, which the company will have to refinance later this year. Turnover held steady at £686m in 2016.
