Foyle Food Group

This group has been providing meat for British and European Sunday roasts for more than three decades. More than 3,000 local suppliers work with the company’s brands Foyle Meats, Hilton Meats, Omagh Meats, Donegal Meat and Foyle Proteins, which together handle 250,000 lambs and 185,000 cattle a year. The Londonderry group supplies retailers such as Tesco, and processors across Europe. Owned by the Watson and Acheson families, sales reached an annualised £215.9m in 2008.
