More than 3,000 local suppliers work with the company’s brands Foyle Meats, Hilton Meats, Omagh Meats, Donegal Meat and Foyle Proteins, which together handle 250,000 lambs and 185,000 cattle a year. The Londonderry group supplies retailers such as Tesco, and processors across Europe. Owned by the Watson and Acheson families, sales reached an annualised £215.9m in 2008.
