The group has provided beef and lamb products to the European market for more than three decades. More than 3,000 suppliers throughout Ireland work with Foyle Food Group’s brands, Foyle Meats, Hilton Meats, OmaghMeats, Donegal Meat Processors and Foyle Proteins, which together process about 200,000 lambs and 180,000 cattle a year. The Londonderry group supplies retailers such as Tesco and other clients across Europe. Owned by the Acheson family, sales reached £236.6m in 2009.
