Furniture Village

Chief executive Peter Harrison opened the first Furniture Village store near Oxford in 1989 and now has more than 40 outlets, an online shop and the London Bed Company at Selfridges. It also owns the World of Leather name, used to brand a range of sofas. In 2007, Harrison bought a controlling stake in the business from Bank of Scotland and other investors.
