Simon Harding founded Gainsborough in 1995 to provide serviced offices in London, and he attributes the company’s success to investment in IT systems and support. Gainsborough operates five centres in London and opened its first American office last year. Customers such as Boots, Budweiser, Royal & Sun Alliance and Direct Line have helped sales grow 75% a year from £1.3m in 1998 to £7.3m in 2001, when the company had 33 staff.
