Glenvarigill Company

After selling off its Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati dealerships in 2004, this Scottish car dealer has decided to refocus on Audi, Volkswagen and Honda, and has the only TVR dealership north of the border. After suffering a £3m loss on sales of £179.2m in 2003, managing director Tim Bartlett oversaw a debt-for-equity swap with Bank of Scotland. The 35-year-old Edinburgh business was the subject of a management buyout from its previous owners Drambuie in 2002.
