Formula One racing fans can follow Jaguar’s climb up the grid thanks to Jaguar Racing’s interactive website. Designed and hosted by Global Beach, the site also enables users to build a virtual Jaguar racing car. Founded by Clive Jackson in 1993, Global Beach says it develops online marketing software for clients such as Porsche. Sales, from offices in London, Geneva and Los Angeles, have risen 99% a year from £779,000 in 1998 to £6.2m in 2001, when the company had 75 staff.
