Global-e provides technology to ecommerce retailers enabling them to localise their websites in more than 200 markets worldwide and helping them grow international sales. Its software supports 95 currencies, 50 local and alternative payment methods, and the calculation and prepayment of duties and taxes. Global-e was co-founded in 2013 by Amir Schlachet, 41, Shahar Tamari, 46, and Nir Debbi, 44, and has raised more than $55m from backers including Apax Partners. Initially based in Israel, the firm has relocated to London and now serves 120 retailers including Boden and Marks & Spencer. Sales grew to £15.3m in 2017 and it is targeting expansion in the US and France.
