Global owns many of the UK’s largest commercial radio brands, including Capital, Heart, LBC, Classic FM and Smooth. Its says its activity reaches 31m people every week. In 2014, it created DAX, the world’s largest digital audio advertising platform and, last year acquired US digital audio ad sales company AudioHQ for an undisclosed sum, allowing it to offer advertisers a global audience of 160m. It is led by founder and executive president Ashley Tabor OBE, 41, and group chief executive Stephen Miron, 53.
