Go Outdoors is a one-stop shop where you can buy equipment for hiking, mountaineering, camping and other outdoor pursuits. It appeals to professional enthusiasts as well as hobbyists and is led by chief executive John Graham, 50, a keen climber, and president Paul Caplan, 57. The company has continued to expand, opening 10 new stores last year in addition to the 10 opened the year before. It now operates 41 outlets and has also focused on improving online sales by redesigning its website. In April 2011 the private equity firm 3i took a minority stake in a £28m deal.
