Tech Track 100

Gojobsite’s genesis can be traced to a ski chairlift in Norway in 1994, when brothers Keith and Graham Potts decided to go into business together. They were soon joined by a third brother, Eric.

The trio launched a recruitment website in 1995, when there were only 40,000 internet users in Britain. They struggled at first, but sales have increased by 174% a year, from £924,000 in 1998 to £6.9m in 2000, and are forecast to double this year. The recruitment giant Manpower took a minority stake in the company in January 2000.
