Harvey Jenkinson, 37, worked in the leisure industry as a yacht captain before deciding to launch his own leisure company in 2014 with the help of childhood friend Michael Harrison, 41, and Simon Whicker, 57, a former partner at a Big Four accountancy firm. Operating exclusively in shopping centres, it provides trampolines, golf, indoor climbing and virtual-reality games. It opened its first site in Yorkshire and now has 10 across the UK, from Glasgow to Maidstone. Since 2017 it has raised £8m in funding from Guinness Asset Management, and sales hit £9.8m last year. In that period, it recorded £552,000 in earnings before amortisation and depreciation but an operating loss. Since then it has launched its first park in Saudi Arabia, part of a 15-park deal. It plans to expand into go-karting and open a site in Germany by early 2020.
