Founded in 2000 through a management buyout from Gearhouse Broadcast, Gravity Media sells or rents equipment used in television studios, control rooms and for outside broadcasts. With offices in the UK, America, Australia, Qatar and India, the group also undertakes location work throughout the world, televising large sports events, concerts and current affairs programmes. Under founder and chief executive John Newton, international sales have increased 43% a year, from £8.4m in 2008 to £17.1m in 2010.
