Joint chief executives Derek Passant and Kerry Finnon led a management buyout of this Shrewsbury car dealer in December 2004. This is the third buyout for Greenhous since it was founded in 1912. The group, which mainly trades in Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands, claims to be Britain’s biggest Vauxhall dealer, and also operates Daewoo, Peugeot, DAF and LDV dealerships. Sales totalled £491m in 2005, though margins were slim.
