Greenlight develops search-engine marketing software that sends internet queries to the websites of its clients, including Santander, Vodafone, New Look and Interflora. The fast-growing online advertising market has boosted growth at the London company, which has expanded to operate in 20 languages, including Mandarin, Japanese, Urdu and Arabic. Founded by chief executive Warren Cowan in 2001, Greenlight is now focusing on ways of helping its clients exploit social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Sales grew 80% a year from £2.7m in 2006 to £15.7m in 2009.
