Ben Francis, 26, started this fitness clothing brand in 2012. Since then its range of fitness apparel has gone global, under the leadership of chief executive Steve Hewitt, 45, who joined in 2015. It has focused on creating an aspirational brand, building a community of customers through social media and sponsorship of popular YouTubers and Instagram stars. It now has a combined audience of 65m followers. In April it opened its new headquarters — GSHQ — in Solihull, creating 450 jobs. In the year to July, sales hit £103.2m, 80% of which were to overseas customers in 177 countries. Its operating profit figure of £20.2m is one of the highest on the league table.
