Lambrini is still the best-selling product in Halewood Wines and Spiprits’s range, with 40m bottles of the pear-based beverage sold each year. The Merseyside company also produces Crabbie’s alcoholic ginger beer, and distributes Chinese beer Tsingtao and Lamb’s Navy Rum. The firm was founded in 1978 by John Halewood, who died last year; his wife Judy now chairs the board.
