This conglomerate’s interests include drinks, property and venture capital. Controlled by the Gorvy family and led by chief executive Sean Gorvy and chairman Manfred Gorvy, its subsidiary companies include Dorrington property investments, one of greater London’s biggest landlords, along with Europe’s largest fruit-drinks maker Gerber Emig. Its venture-capital arm, Fresh Capital, holds a variety of investments, including the property website Zoopla.co.uk. Sales in 2007 reached £588m.
