Owned by the Hong Kong businessman Dickson Poon, Harvey Nichols has outlets in six British cities, with its flagship store in London’s Knightsbridge. It also has shops in Dublin, Hong Kong, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Further openings are planned for Hong Kong and Kuwait. Although sales fell slightly to an annualised £164.7m in 2010, profits rose to £13.8m under chief executive Joseph Wan.
