It has 500,000- plus sq ft of distribution space and runs more than 90 of its own shops. Founded in Belfast in 1897 to supply eggs, butter and cheese, the group also comprises a property division, a printing business and a retail software provider. It is led by co-chairmen Martin Agnew, 57, and his brother Geoffrey, 56.
