Serial entrepreneurs Andrew Malcher, 46, and Jim Coleman, 48, created High Street TV in 2008, after seeing the success of shopping channels in the US. The Harrogate-based company uses its own TV channel to promote household products such as NutriBullet blenders, multi cookers, pans and home fitness equipment. Viewers can buy over the phone, online or through retailers, such as Argos, John Lewis and Tesco. Sales rose to £74.6m in 2015, boosted by exclusive partnerships with US brands and product development. The private-equity firm Endless acquired a majority stake in the business for an undisclosed sum last year.
