Fast Track 100

In 2011, university friends Tom Barton, 29, and Philip Eeles, 32, were joined by experienced restaurateur Dorian Waite, 48, to turn their pop-up fast food venture into an upmarket burger chain. It has capitalised on demand for ‘posh burgers’, with a simple menu and high quality ingredients. The trio have expanded to 10 sites, growing sales to £6.9m this year. In January, the London company secured a reported £7m investment from Active Private Equity, and is aiming to have 20 sites by the end of next year.
