Using just a postcode and a name, ICR’s software can give call-centres a customer’s address, his nearest car dealer, or even the gas-meter reading. The Bradford-based management consultancy, founded in 1996 by Jonathan Smith, provides design, development and integration services for IT systems. Sales to clients – including Lloyds TSB, Yorkshire building society and Thomson Holidays – have grown 73% a year from £3.4m in 1998 to £17.7m in 2001, when ICR had 16 employees.
