Iglo produces and markets frozen food in Britain and continental Europe, with key brands such as Birds Eye, Iglo and, in Italy, Findus. Permira, the private equity firm, bought the business from Unilever for £1.1bn in 2006, and last year considered a sale before deciding to refinance £1.4bn of loans in November. Iglo had sales of £1.3bn in 2012 and last month appointed a new chief executive, Elio Leoni-Sceti, 47.
