Patrick McKenna, 57, founded London’s Ingenious in 1998 as an investment and advisory group for the entertainment, media, sport and leisure sectors. It has helped fund films such as Avatar and Life of Pi, and an online production of the West End hit Much Ado about Nothing. It recently launched a venture fund for creative start-ups. After our research closed, Ingenious reported that revenues halved to £156.4m in 2013.
