University friends Simon King, 44, and Alastair Donnelly, 43, set up the company in 2000 after teaching English in Japan. Overseas sales of package tours grew to £18.5m in 2018, bolstered by a strengthened marketing team and coverage of Japan generated by the Rugby World Cup and upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
