As a fully licensed medical supplier, ITH Pharma makes treatments for hospital patients who need pain therapy, chemotherapy, or parenteral nutrition, among others. The west London company also sells a patented syringe device, Doselock, which was designed to reduce waste for clients such as private clinics, the NHS and vets. Founders Adam Bloom, 39, and Karen Hamling, 47, sold their last pharmaceuticals firm, Intra-Tech Healthcare, in 2005 and started ITH in 2008 with the proceeds. The company plans to improve its existing products and make operations more efficient, having just introduced online ordering.
