This company has eight data centres across Europe, all with bulletproof glass, hand scans, air locks and enough generators to power a small town. Founder Guy Willner has grown his data-management and networking company with a £66m investment from Bank of America, JP Morgan and EAC. After its acquisition of the German company GIC this year, IXEurope claims that one third of German credit-card providers now use its disaster recovery services. Sales have risen 41% a year from £7.8m in 2002 to £15.5m in 2004, when it made a large loss.
