JacTravel supplies tour operators and travel companies with rooms in more than 7,000 hotels across 550 cities, and has websites for the German, French and Spanish markets. Two years ago it moved into Korea and more recently South America. Other growth areas are the Middle East, India and China. In 2007, private equity firm Bowmark Capital bought a majority stake in an £11m buyout and since then its chief executive Mario Bodini has overseen growth in international sales of 28% a year, from £49.6m in 2009 to £81.1m in 2011.
