Founded in 1946, JCT600 has 24 dealerships across Yorkshire and northeast England, selling luxury cars such as Porsches, Aston Martins and Bentleys, as well as more affordable marques such as Peugeot, Rover and Toyota. The Bradford company, owned by Jack Tordoff and run by his sons John and Ian, also has a car-hire business that leases more than 5,000 vehicles. JCT600 reported an increase in sales to £340m in 2002, when the company had 1,093 staff.
