In March this car dealer completed its largest ever takeover when it acquired Gilder Group, another family-owned dealer based in Sheffield – a deal that is being reviewed by the Office of Fair Trading. The firm now operates 50 showrooms in northern England, selling marques such as Audi, Mini and Ferrari.
