The car dealership group JCT600 reported that 2010 was its best-ever year, selling 16,000 new cars and outperforming the market. The family-run firm operates 48 showrooms in northern England, selling marques such as Audi, VW and Mini as well as prestige cars such as Porsche and Aston Martin. Founded by Edward Tordoff in 1946, the Bradford group is now run by his grandson, chief executive John Tordoff. Organic growth plus the acquisition of three new Audi sites contributed to sales growth of 32% in 2010 to reach £615m.
